I'm in the middle of an install in my 91 S10 extended cab truck. I am wondering where to place the speakers to get the best imaging. I will be using Clarion SSS601 for my midbass in the door panel, the other speakers are 5.25" Clarion SSS501 and Clarion 4" SRP4620M. All of the speakers are component sets with crossovers, but I'm not sure where to place the other speakers and corresponding tweeters in order to get the best imaging and staging.
There is the stock 4X6 location on the top of the dash for the 4", but would I be better off using the kickpanels? And if so, where would a good place for the 5.25's be?
I am also running 2 clarion 12" subs in the extended cab area of the truck in a downfiring configuration.
