| i have a 02 eclipse. just finishing the dynamatting on it, and then i goto run the wires. thign is i dont know how much to buy.
my system i am putting in is
2 RF p3's
RF components in the front
RF 6x9's in the rear
PG tantrum 1200.1 mono
(4 channel to be decided still..workin on it)
probally a cap
I THINK i am planning to mount the amps under my driver and one under the passenger seat. for wut i am thinkin of doin is fibre glassing the wheelwell, smoot it out and paint to match the car with just my subs sitting in the middle of some plexyglass thats covering the trunk, maybe throw the cap back there aswell. anyways time to buy the wires, jsut wondering dose anyone know approx how much of wut i am goin to need?
im thinkin 0g from battery to distroblock then 2/4 gauge from that to the amps. i also want to get rid of stock speaker wiring and put in new stuff (worth it?) also goto do the big 3 with the 0guage
anyways any idea of how much wire approx, or atleast the diff wires i am goin to need? anything i should add tot he system such as a signal processor or...?
u can contact me via email or msn (or post here)

| Use string to get a rough idea of what you need, then give yourself an extra couple of feet to play with. All of the little twists and turn around body contours can eat up a lot of length of cable.
Also be absolutely sure of where you want to put your equipment before you get your cable. I'm personally not a big fan of under the seat mounting for a few reasons and I have only done it with small amps. I don't know how big the 1200.1 is but most amps with that kind of power take up more than a bit of space physically in addition to whats needed for proper ventilation. Just my $.02 |

wdp_owner@hotmail.com | A capacitor should be as close to the amp as possible, so if you are putting the amps under the seats, finding a place for the cap up front would be best
