Battery Question Top and Side Mounts

My problem is i dont have enough 0 guage inputs on my battery terminal. I have a nice AudioPipe battery terminal it has the following inputs. 1 0guage 1 4guage and 2 8 guage.

My problem is I have 0 guage running to back, 4 guage running to alternator, and the other two are for stock connections. I now got some 0 guage power wire in so I want to upgrade the 4 guage to 0 guage power cable from alternator to + battery. However not enough inputs on battery terminal.

My question is, Is it ok to connect my new 0 guage from alt to battery + to the SIDE post on my battery. My battery has 2 + and 2 - outputs. Will this still be considered better than using the 4 guage. Also the 0 guage is gonna take a route which is only 4.ft long as opposed to current 6 feet 4 guage route.

Why am i upgrading to 0 guage. I have a highoutput 180Amp exessive amperage alternator and am jsut now getting around to doing this with 0 guage all around......

OR, you can use a 3/8" drill bit and bore out the 4 ga to 0 ga.

depending on the strand count of the 0ga, it might be a little bigger that 3/8.

Different air intake? With a little bit of smarts you can make your own.

^^ those posts above are pretty good ideas.

knukoncepts has some pretty decent terminals for some pretty cheap prices.

http://www.knukonceptz.com/productMaster.cfm?Category=Battery%20Terminals

they don't show very much on there site, might wanna check out a knukoncepts dealer if your really interested.
