i'm confused

my sub and amp havent been getting power (no light on, no power, no control) all that stuff
but i was playin around with it
and when i play music the sub itself still plays
the sub is working, no light on the amp tho and no control on the deck with sub levels
maybe i'm an idiot
but whys it doin this?

Air pressure in the vehicle may be making the cone of the speaker move. If the cone is moving, the coils are still going in and out of the magnet assembly, end result is sound.

When you say no power do you mean that you removed the power wire from the battery or the ground wire, or that the LED power light just isn't coming on?

I am no expert but you could have blown a micro-controller in the amp, but the op-amps could still be functioning idependantly. Or maybe the display is just damaged.

i rechecked my fuse for my power line and that was blown
so i think ther sub was running directly off the deck so it wasnt getting much power
