^ 1.5 V will be the best setting. (*matching gain doesn't mean matching voltage numbers)

One of the quickest way to set the subbass level is to use a well recorded disc (like.. Dire Strait/ Brothers in Arms trk#1,2,4,6,9 etc.) and listen to the bass vs overall fundamentals then adjust till you feel the bass attacks without over powering the topend as in real life.
