Where is the power?

I just installed a USAcoustics 6300 amp and a pair of 6.5" Infinity cs6000.
Now my deck is a junk sony xplode that came with the car... like 2v preout is its lucky. So the gain is set quite low on the amp. Im using channels one and two for the infinity drivers and the electronic crossover on the amp. They should be getting 50wrms a piece. Now I find that they arnt really outputting what I would expect from them.
The two 6.5" stock speakers in the kickers are actually putting out more powerful sounding bass then them and they are currently ran off deck power!

Im curious as to what my problem might be?
Any input would be appriciated.
Thanks

have the deck at full power then use your gains on your amp (untill you get what you are looking for )

I did similar to this... deck at 75-80% and then gain up a little ways before distortion... It still didnt have that kick to it.... more muddy sounding with loud highs.

I just find it quite strange that the deck powered STOCK speakers seem to be out performing these...

Its a 6channel amp. I have the speakers running off channels 3+4. I dont have my sub connected yet which will be going 2ohm bridging 5+6.

Im unsure what Im doing with channels 1+2 right now... but anyways....

The amp has an independant HIGH and LOW crossover for channels 3+4 (and a gain control).
Off the top of my head... down to 45hz - not sure what the top is.

There is also an option to run 3+4 stereo or mono. I have it running stereo currently, however when I press it to run mono its SUPER quite. Perhaps this is because you need to bridge the channels?

THanks

if you have a 6ch i would have 1-2 highs 3-4 mid 5-6 sub
or 1-2 L 3-4 R 5-6 sub
if your high pass or your low pass is on you may get no power to speaker try flipping your low/high pass

That is how I have it set up. However I have no highs at the moment so 1+2 are open... Same with 5+6 (sub hasnt arrived).

There is no way to bypass the xover as far as i can tell. I merely have the range set quite wide.... which isnt helping a whole lot
