In a few weeks I will be installing a basic deck, amp sub install in my buddy's gt3000. I have done many installs no problem.

Just wondering if nayone knows a good place to run the power wire from the bat thru the firewall. There is lots of room but looks pretty solid. Any ideas would be cool.

As well, he will need to get the trim kit for the deck. The only one we found for import cars had 2 other mitsubishi's for a different year but not his. Would it be the same as another vehilce's setup.

Thanks in advance, and if you need any other info let me know and I will try to find out

This is a question only you can really answer. I've seen guys run their power cable under their car (not recommended by me, bad weather down there). I've drilled my hole right under the driver side part of the dash, because the battery is on the left side of my car. I lead the cable in and tie-downed it along the left side of the seats and into the trunk. Looks clean, but I may add some slit-tubing in the future, for added protection. Best of luck friend.

There's usually plenty of space where stock wiring goes from the engine into the cabin, piggy back through there to get indoors.
