Just wondering if anyone knows of a good book for installing stereos.

I'm basically just looking for something that will give me some power specs or guidelines, and some what of a installation walkthrough. I hjave already bought all my stuff so I do not need a buyers guide.

There aren't any books that are vehicle specific for installations, usually just a general set of guidelines. Your best bet would be to search around online for specific information regarding your vehicle, or picking up a hanes repair manual. They are a ton of help for taking everything apart, and online information about wiring up your deck/speakers/everything else is pretty easy to find. Just my 0.02.

do you know which manual (if any) is quite good for a basic guideline to installing. The firs time I had it done proffesionally but it was to expensive to do again..so now I'm stuck with 3000 worth of equipment that I'm pretty sure I know how to wire, but I'd like a fallback opinion...

I'm not too familiar with the books on the subject however, here is a website that's an excellent resource whether newbie or seasoned...
