Hello, first of all, I have searched alot but need to clarify. Thanks in advance to anyone who spends time helping me out.

I am installing the following into my 92 acura legend sedan.

deck; alpine cda-9830

sub : eD 11Kv.2 Subwoofer (10 inch)
http://www.edesignaudio.com/edv2/pro...products_id=30

amp: eD NINe.4
http://www.edesignaudio.com/edv2/pro...products_id=46

front component speakers: eD eDi 6000s v.2 System
http://www.edesignaudio.com/edv2/pro...products_id=49

What I need help with is how I should wire my amp to my front speakers and my sub.

power ratings:
sub - 300/600 WRms ( Dual 2 or Dual 4 Voice Coils)
speakers - 65/150 (4 ohms final impedence)

amp - RMS Power @ 12.5v : 4 x 65 @ 4 Ohm, 4x 100 @ 2 Ohm
RMS Power (Bridged) @ 12.5v : 2 x 150 @ 4 Ohm

1st, if the amp has 4 channels, is it ok to have a different impedence (ohms) on each channel and therefore a different watt output for each channel, ie. 3x 65 @ 4 Ohm and 1x 100 @ 2 Ohm? Or, do they all have to be the same, ie. all 4x 100 @ 2 Ohm or all 4 x 65 @ 4 Ohm

My guess would be that I wire both my front speakers in parallel, which should bring them down to 2 ohms, then i send them a single 100w channel from the amp @ 2 ohms.
For the sub I will order the 4 ohm version and wire it in parallel as well so its down to 2 ohms, now, can I send it 3 channels @ 100w? or all of the remaining wattage (300w?)?

Can you send more than 1 channel to a single speaker?

And finally, would it be right to buy the 4ohm sub or the 2 ohm sub?

Thank you guys soo much for ur help. Can;t wait to get this system bumping.

Hook up you're fronts to the front 2 channels of the amp, then run you're rear speakers off the deck.

Bridge the back 2 channels on you're amp and run the sub off them.

will 150w be enough power for that sub?

Well you have a problem in you cannot run that sub on 2 channels without running each coil on each channel.

I recommend you get another amp, a 1 channel that spits out around 300-400w...

fusion, thank you for the help. Would you suggest I run my components off of my head unit and get a single chanel amp for the sub? Or, would I need 2 amps, one for the sub and one for the components.

Run your comps off your 4-channel and get a second amp to power the sub. There won't be enough power on the 4-ch alone to run the sub.

just find an amp with 300-400w rms. that should bump nicely.
