I need to go louder...n e help?

hey how's it goin...i need to go louder with my system..i'm currently runnin two 10 inch RE se subs...and a usamps 1000x...i'd like to keep my current system as i'm very pleased with it, but i kno i can pump more power out of it....

i'm currently runnin 0 guage from the battery, to a cap, to a distroblock to 4 guage to the amp (as my amp can only handle 4 guage)...i was lookin at what else i can upgrade to get a lil more BOOM BOOM

im going to be doin the big three upgrade this weekend... oh and also roundin off the corner's on my box... it's currently 40x16x16 and tuned to 36 hertz.. here's a pic...



what else do u guys suggest?!?! n e help would be GREATLY appreached i'm currently hittin 139.0...i wanna try and get into the 140ish range! lol

bigger speaker wire
do you have pic's in the box ?
it will be hard ,you have not alot of room to move the box,try flip the box so the port is to the side

oh ya i forgot to add i'm runnin 8 guage for the speaker wire...and unfortunally i can't flip the box inless i take off the bottom piece...but then i'd have to find a different way to mount my amp and stuff...ahh lol

i do not see bracing inside and i like a wall in the box so the subs ...... no i'm not getting into that
if you are trying to get the max out of the subs try a new box

anyone have a box design for these subs so we can get the maximum potential SPL out of them while still able to use them everyday as well...

for now we are gonna try to brace it add rounded corners, and make it smaller on the inside....

that should tune it from being a 30.6 hz box into a 39.5 hz if the calculations are correct..

anyone ...?anyone....? LOL
