General Wiring Mahem!

Alright guys, heres the deal. I've got a buttload of wires running all over my 2000 Toyota Tacoma on air suspension, and I want to centralize it and generally make it an easy to maintain / diagnose setup.

Every part of this list needs to receive 12 volts of power.

- Stereo
- Alarm
- Door Popper setup
- Two air compressors
- Two amplifiers (1 for components 1 for subs)
- Switchbox (for air valves)

Alright, so its a huge cluster**** the way it is right now. I have about 5 lines running to the battery that arent stock, and I'd like a way to localize it. Is there a way to run 0awg wire to a massive distribution block inorder to accomadate all of these accessories? Any ideas? Maybe two distribution blocks, one for the accessories in the cab, one for those behind the cab (air suspension setup). Also, where is this sort of stuff available online or local to London Ontario?

Any thoughts / ideas are greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Dave

Edit: Also thinking that I will need a battery terminal setup for the 0 awg wire and the other 4/8 guage lines (alternator, fuse box)

It sounds like you already know what you're doing.

0 Awg will leave you tonnes of head room for future mods.
You can split that to 2 4awg or 2 2 awg easily.
Get a fused distribution block because you will be down grading the wire size so you will want to protect the smaller wire after the fuse block.

I think I would do it this way - 0 awg into the cab into a multiple out-put fused distribution block. One 4 / 2 awg out to the rear, and then a bunch of 4, 8 & 12 awg to all the things you need to power inside the truck.

In the clearance section of the store on Victoria park in Scarboro, the have 0 in x 4 4 ga output terminal blocks for 9.99. They don't carry 0 ga wire, but i bought 4 & 8 ga there. and fuses and holders.
The clearance stuff isn't in the online catalog, but maybe if you call them up they can put together an order for you.

Every car audio store sells blocks fuses battery adaptors etc., etc.

I was also going to suggest getting something like a terminal barrier strip for all the little wires that either need a common source of 12v or Gnd. these really allow you to clean up the install.
