Of course, Im sure you have heard the "it is illegal to watch movies while driving" bit, and that these units are meant to be watched while parked. On all the units i have installed, the parking break wire is grounded out when the parking brake is engaged. So to bypass it, all one would have to do is either hook it up to the ground, or sometimes a switch is need. The parking brake wire would go to one side of the switch, and a ground wire would go to the other side of the switch. I personally like this setup, cause if you get stopped, a flick of a switch turns off the video. Just make sure you put the switch somewhere not visible from outside the car

to easily bypass the saftey system on that head unit all you have to do is connect the light green p brake lead to ground . that is all !

this just went on and on ....... i know what you were saying but that was just alot of work ...... isnt just as easy to turn it off ?? then you dont have some gay switch tucked under something .......... but thats just me i like my installs to look neat and tidey

and really if your the only one in the car and your watching a movie then you deserve to be pulled over

some players i have encountered NEED the switch. Once the unit is activated, then it needs to be grounded out. Its not enough to be permanently grounded.

that hu only needs a ground out i sell that product i know how it works.
im not trying to be rude im just trying to give the best advice out there
im sorry if i came across as a "know it all" i was just trying to make it simple
btw there is a much better way around the switches on any dvd hu and its using the pac module "tr7 " that will automaticly do the ebrake as soon as you turn on the hu . anyhoo all he needs to do is ground it out
