| just outta curiosity.... is you power and ground the same color?
check to make sure u have the power from batt in the terminal marked BATT and the wire grounded to the body attached to terminal labeled GND
if u accidentally connected them backwards then connected them the way it should be you probably blew a diode in the amp called the polarity dioide.
get the amp serviced it should be fairly cheap
