Has anyone ever run a power wire in one of these cars? Its built like a tank and with the turbo setup, theres not much room under the hood to get through the firewall without taking the car apart.

You could always use loom/pvc piping and go under the car...

Hey, thanks for the reply.

I looked under the car and I'm having trouble finding a place to come up through the rear without disassembling a bunch of stuff I don't want to touch.

I may have found an option under the hood but won't know till I try it today (coming off nightshift so I will have some time).

I wish this car was as easy as my 06 Matrix was.

I have a 2004 Focus SVT and allI had to do was remove the airbox to get enough access to drill the firewall...

I'm not sure where the air box is on the focus, but that wouldn't help with this car. The air box is at the front of the engine bay. I tried removing the battery box, but the engine management wiring is attached to the side and I didn't want to take the chance of ripping something out.

I actually found a place to run the power wire behind my head shield on the passenger side. There is a large rubber accordian grommet.

I'm booming again.

Awesome...

Our airbox is on the driver side about middle I guess... cold air from the front and a snorkle on the side of the air box... you pull that out and you can get under the fuse block...

Glad you find a way in...

Stock is 170hp 145tq...

Easy to upgrade with air intake exhaust and computer flash. The engine is beefed up and can go to over 300hp without changing any major parts of course you will add a bunch of parts. Not a drag car but an awesome auto X car...

You also get upgraded suspension, rims, tires, interior, gauges, six speed tranny and exterior ground effects with a rear spoiler.

That sounds pretty sweet. I've seen them around but never checked them out. You need a turbo setup

Speed3, if you've never seen them, is 260 hp and 280 ft-lbs torque at the crank. I'm looking into front mount intercooler and exhaust. They claim with these upgrades, you are good up to about an extra 30 hp and 40 ft-lbs of torque but I will have to see how it works out.

yeah, I keep telling myself when it is paid off I will do something to it to boost it up another 100hp...

Right now is my daily driver so when that time comes I will get a second beater to use while this one goes under the knife... hahaha

Yeah there are plenty of the speed 3's here in austin... and speed 6's... : )

Our focus is built on the 3 chassis... whish we would get the all wheel drive version they have overseas... st170 model??
