is there a difference between a positive battery terminal and a negative battery terminal?

Yuli is yusually correct

If you have aftermarket connections they have to go on the correct terminal for your standard lead terminal battery

Will still work most times so I would not be to worried till you try them.It`s when you get two neg. thats when to start to get down on yourself

i realized my plan was not going to work so i bought those terminals for nothing. but i realized my battery has top terminals and side terminals. Is it ok to use both the top and the side terminals?
