Issue 1: The rear speakers have static when the Volume is at 1 or higher. The static volume stays the same, even when I increase the music volume.

Issue 2: The antenna does not extend since the receiver didn't come with a power antenna wire.

I have a 1994 Nissan Maxima and I just changed out the receiver, 2 front speakers, and 2 back speakers. It was not the Bose system so it had a Clarion amp that powered the rear speakers.

Initially I changed the receiver with a Sony unit, Pioneer speakers in the front and Infinity Kappa speakers in the rear. Everything worked fine, the antenna, the speakers.

However, I upgraded to a Pioneer DEH-P7000BT for the bluetooth. Now, the rear speakers have static and the antenna doesn't extend so my tuner reception is terrible.

I crimped all of the connections myself so I don't think it's a connection problem.

Any help is appreciated!!!

Well for the antenna, just extend the trigger wire from the deck or if it has an antenna turn on wire from the deck extend it to the antena should work.

With regards to the static, when do you hear it?
Could be a ground issue...
I would swap out the speaker wires from the front to the rear to see if it's the deck or if it's the speakers.
Good luck buddy.

It's easy to add a ton of equipment yet it's most difficult to make a great sounding system with less.

Does this "static" get higher in pitch when you rev your engine?
