| If you cut out a piece of MDF to mount over the hole, and then mount the 10" to that. The airspace should be of the correct volume for the speaker, also.

| screws are always better than glue.
It shouldn't affect your performance a whole lot as long as you keep it airtight. Maybe a ring of silicone around the new MDF would help a little. |

| How big is the box? What is the sub you are putting into this box? Little more info would help. [ August 07, 2003, 11:23 PM: Message edited by: JeepBeats ]

| the box is 15.5" X 15" X 13.5"
i'm deciding to put in the 10" infinity 1020W
or 12" Pioneer TS-W303C
which one is better? [ August 08, 2003, 12:03 AM: Message edited by: Ahdum2k ] |

Infinity recommends .75 sealed/1.75 cubic feet ported, your box is around 1.3 cubic feet. The Pioneer sealed would probably work well in that airspace.

it's also 12", then i don't hv to mount MDF or sth
