Hey guys, hope someone has had experience with this amp's sweet sweet innards.
I turned on the system and popped the trunk to show off for my friend the other night, and before the music came on (mp3 took a little bit to load on my deck) I heard the amp's fan sounding really wretched. The whirring and slight buzzing sounded like it had dropped a ball bearing or needed lube or SOMETHING. My car had bottomed out a few times in the last few months so it's conceivable this impact damaged the fan assembly. Anyway, I love the amp so much plus I can't afford a new one of any kind (warranty is surely long over on this unit), so I figure at least the amp's still running and power's still going to the fan, maybe I can just take apart the amp and replace the fan. Can someone (anyone?) tell me what the fan on this amp looks like? Does it resemble a PC case fan or maybe even a processor heat sink fan? I'm pretty good with a soldering iron and tools in general, so I can definitely rip this sucker open and replace an electrical component on it, but I don't want to have to take it apart and drive around looking for a replacement fan, I'd rather have the replacement in hand when I open the amp. I would be very grateful for any insight you can provide. Thanks guys.

Hey MH, I've been a member for some time. Just hardly ever been on cause I was so focused on ricing out my ride, I forgot about my pursuit of good ICE.
