I just ordered 2 eD 16kv.2's last night. I plan on putting them in my car in custom boxes. I want to go vented, but i don't know where to start tuning a vented box let alone the shape i want to make. Does anybody have experience with these subs, or any opinions on Vented Vs. Sealed. Any help would be great. I plan on getting alot of use out of these subs but being able to turn it up at SPL comps.

As always, depends on what you want your music to sound like. if you play it loud, then vented. If you output is not a concern and you want tight deep bass, then go sealed.

I just finished reviewing the 9k and was blown away - the 16k should be awesome.

Hey, I tried a sealed box for one, to see what I was looking at for both and to test the subs. I'm very impressed. They are great subs. one had the terminals marked wrong, almost cooked it but I caught it in time. I don't think you can beat these subs with a stick for the price. I upgraded from 1 JL 12W0 single4, not looking back. Thanks for the help, I cant wait till my dual box and wiring is done to get these in my car.
