I just got some new rear speakers for my blazer. Origanaly the speakers go up on the ceiling but i extended the cords and am running them in a box that sits on the floor that me and my dad made. When i first put them in a few days ago they were working great but i just noticed this morning when i turned down my sub that they weren't running. I know they aren't blown cuz i tested them on my cd player in my room but i did find out that i screwed up on the wiring and put negative to positive and positive to negative. Is it possible that my head unit's rear speaker signal is permanetly destroyed? Or are there any suggestions to what is going on? And what are some of the main things that happen if you connect the speakers + and - terminals to the wrong terminals?

Reversing the terminals shouldn't have done anything to the speakers as they were both out of phase.
If you had touched the + & - of the wires together while you were installing them, that might have put the amplifier into protection or even shorted the amplifiers outputs.
Are you also running front speakers off the head unit? If so, are they still working?
A reset of the head unit also wouldn't hurt.

Alright, i will try reseting my head unit. Both of my front speakers are working perfectly. And when i was installing the back speakers i paid close attention to not letting the + and - touch, but even if they did touch nothing would happen if the ignition key was off right? Is there possibilities that i have to much speaker wire for the current to travel through, cuz i have a lot of it.

The length of speaker wire is not an issue as amplified outputs run at a decent voltage.
If resetting doesn't help, my guess would be that you've blown the rear channels.

Could it be that the connections you made in the roof (or where ever you said the factory location was) could be loose and that is why they are not working? Have you double checked your connections? How did you connect them? Twist the wires together? Solder them? Use butt connectors?

Is your fader centered? Don't laugh - I've "fixed" a lot of non working speakers this way...

Wow, this is a bad update. Now my front right speaker isn't working. I unplugged and replugged my head unit but nothing happened. PIONEER GUY, if i did blow my channels what causes them to blow? And DUKK, i did check my fader, this morning i was able to turn the fader all the way to the right and only listen to my subwoofer because no speakers on the right are working. This really sucks ass. But if that is the real deal, or i mean, if i really did blow my speaker terminals, what could have caused them to blow?

I can't really even guess why this may have happened but a common reason is that the speaker wires short. If the wires touch each other, or metal, etc. that would do it. I would suggest you remove the head unit & have it bench tested.
