Well it has started.......the head unit went up in smoke and there is no replacement right now sooooooooo......buy some wood, screws ect. .....gutted the stereo components out of the back of the car.....take out factory carpet and spare tire.
Whooooo hooooo look at all the space ...hmmmmmmm where to start????
last night Karl and I started building my new false floor in the c**kroach.
All framed up and tonight we cut the MDF for the floor and start positioning the amp and gear......gona look good....Russ....you will like it. (bitch about my wiring) lol you won't even see the wiring when I am done.

I will post pics after we are done and before and after the final trim peice is laid in place.

holy crap!!!! what an undertaking this is....cut the peices .....fit the peices.....put together...take apart.....put together...take apart.....run wires....put back together....i think i am going to have to take up drinking after this project...lol

Uh...welcome to the never-ending world of custom fabricating. Now, try doing what you are doing to a new Mercedes or Range Rover - then you'd start with the pure tar heroin instead of drinking.

Ya no shit eh...oh well it will be worth it when ever I get it done...it looks hacky right now but I am sure that it will look better when I make the trip panels to cover up my WONDERFULL workmanship lol.
It is solid I can say that at least.
