West Coast Members met at Starbucks this past friday to do a cruise. so where did we go.....over to javahut on the langley bypass. man there was a shiest load of cars. id say about 150 ish. bike too. west coast members showed up and made some slamming noise.

we thought that the java hut meets were long and gone but man was it awesome. see you all at the next cruise.

Yep, I drove by on Friday and it was nice and busy, but its like that every summer. The Java Hut Friday cruise-ins are going strong. What isn't are the Surrey Supershows or whatever they called them, that were at Surrey Place Mall. Those died out a few years ago.

Last friday was the first JavaHut show this spring I believe - I go by there everyday after work and don't remember seeing them the week before. Last friday was the first friday in May - maybe that's when they start up again?

Be careful what you wish for...

i was assured by an uninformed person that the cops had shut it down.....but definiitley want the case. guys were pretty good too , so it was a good atmosphere.

I was out in the lower mainland last summer and hit up the Java Hut on a friday when I was there. Seriously one of the best cruises I have been to. I am going to be stopping by in early June and my Dad and I will be sure that we don't miss it.

cops wont shut it down unless people do burnouts or start ripping up and down the bypass

I thought they were shut down, and this was confirmed by somebody else who I asked. I believe somebody was run over and killed there a few years ago by somebody coming out of there. Was good fun though, we'll have to go back whenever we can.

thats very possible....its mostly the younger mustang guys and some of the camaro guys that have something to prove causing all the problems. Majority of super nice high dollar cars there are owned by older guys and girls who drive more responsibly for the most part.

They have cameras set up in the parking lot now to record any burnouts etc and ticket the people for it. So i guess theres not such a need for rcmp at the entrance.

But im sure if burnouts and wreckless driving becomes a problem they will shut it down again.

somebody was run over on hwy 10 there, it was a few years ago, the night before the langley cruise in and the place was way busier then normal. Someone ran across the street and a jeep hit her. Not someone racing around tho. anyways, she didn;t die, she pulled thru, so pretty lucky, ever since that night they seem to have been pretty hard on the place
