Hey guys just signed up and am curious as to how many people are from vancouver island? I'm still building my truck and piecing together the stereo. Once I get it all done I was hoping that there might be some sort of shows around that I could attend (hopefully with a TL). Are there any annual shows hopefully during the summer after May ish? I'm not competing but just want to see what type of numbers my daily beater will do. I still have a LONG ways to go before till I am finished but I'm hoping to get it done early this year.

My original plan was: orion 2500d, 2 12" premier ts-w3004spl, pg 6.5" comps, orion 4002, panasonic hu, 2 blue tops. I've done 2 12's before but I decided even before using any of it that I wanted to go a different route. I now have a second 2500d coming and want to upgrade subs. I am set on going with some FI's. Either 2 18" BTL's, but I am leaning more towards 4 15" FI Q's. Like I said this would be strictly a daily setup so I wouldn't be running the amps all out.

Jason

No actually you don't, it has all washed away with the storms we have had in the last month. Everything is now a muddy mess, save for the skihill which has over 6 meters on the top and over 3 meters at the base.

I'm on VI aswell. I'm currently building my truck and adding stereo junk in there as the days go by. Right now I'm more worried about my lift and t-case gears.

And Taylor arm rocks

Yea I should be more focused on my vehicle as well. I have all this equipment and the vehicles aren't anywhere near I want them to be. I'm working on an 85 s-10 blazer 4x4. It's just going to be my new DD and I don't wheel so it's just a mild build. 3" BL, re-arched springs, 33's, body work, paint, and a 350 swap. I like my exhaust sounding as good as my music.

Mmmm, 350 very nice sounding. You could go with a 3" BL then swap front coils for some toyota rears (if it's a solid axle, im not sure if it is) Have you thought of getting a extended s-10 pickup cab and swapping it over with a flat deck? They look crazy.

I have a 6" for my XJ in my garage...But I also need to build a new bumper, repair some floor and rocker rot..So it's difficult to get started...Dunno what to do first, so exciting

dont forget you'll need to upgrade both diffs if you plan on taking it offroad at all.

No it's only going offroad for camping. If I wanted to wheel I would build something else. It has stock 4.11's limited slips, so that will suffice. It's not going to be a very built motor, just enough to move it around. It has IFS and I don't want to swap for a SA. And how the hell would I fit 4 15's in an S-10? Hah Hopefully I can get it on the road for May long weekend and head up to Taylor Arm so that it can piss rain all weekend and flood everyone out.
