Case and point the first batch of Z1a's have come and gone...despite many Canadians asking for them and Modz (the Canadian distributer of DD surely asking for them) Canada got 0 of them. Not 1. Yet there are Europeans with them as we speak. Same thing happened with F motors, G motors, DD batteries and the Z2 if I remember correctly.
I never said smuggle it across the border. I go across the border to pick up goods from my shipping address atleast twice a month. And I obviously bring the necessary documentation with me to pay the taxes when you come back across. Still saves a ton of money on brokerage fees, a ton of time and money on shipping, and makes a lot of gear more available when you appear to be an American. I saved about $1000-1500 when I bought my 9912s by having them shipped to the US and paying taxes on them.
Theres nothing illegal about going across to pick up goods and bringing them back across. Theres also nothing illegal about telling DD your address is in Washington or Oregon. You save yourself money for a little bit of hassle of driving across. You might step on the toes of a few local dealers but oh well. Why would I put my money directly into their pocket? | if DD see there not selling in canada thay will pull out ......that is the sad thing and the shop aaaaaaaaaaaaa no i'm not going there

Calgary and Edmonton are both pretty far from the border so I doubt many people would consider driving down from there.
I doubt DD would pull out of Canada...they're getting bigger and bigger. |

Perhaps he even purchased the current products at a hefty discount instead of bringing in the new line to help the end customer save a buck or two.
Wagoneyezed, your comments are just off the wall here, no offence intended. Tell them you are from the US, get a address and ship it there? I suppose you also want the person buying them to smuggle them across the border, not pay taxes etc. then as well. I know, how's about you try it and get your vehicle impounded when they find that out what you are doing? Is that worth it? | Actaully Rob... the reason Europe gets the first is because of how large of a market there is for DD over there and the fact that a lot of the Euro's even help Jassa and the rest of the DD folks develop their products.
