^ LOL Didn't happen. But being at my place for a BBQ Sunday is a decent excuse.
I went

Waited in line for a pic with Foose, a little chit chat and signing 3 hats and a sketch of Impression I brought with me for almost FOUR hours. I got there 1/2 hr. before the show opened at 10. Waited in the wrong line-up (the Barris one) until about 10:20, saw Foose walk-in, followed him up to the tent he was actually going to be at, got in line (which didn't look that long; probably 50-60 people) and it took that long. Why? People figured it was a great excuse to:
a) have him sign BAGS full of stuff
b) get poses and pics with everyone you brought with you to the show
c) have him look thru rolls of photos of whatever
d) flip thru sketches of your own art
He didn't mind it at all though. Super nice guy. It just made the line-up take FOREVER to get thru. Then his wife figured it was a nice idea to create a 2nd line just for people with small kids so that meant the main line took even longer. Ah well, probably wont' meet him again unless he comes up this way and I got the pics and autographs.
Car show was pretty good. Man, there are some people in this area with MONEY. The amount of very nicely done cars is impressive. There was hardly any junk or mediocre cars there. And some real show stoppers too. Some very rich guy from Abbotsford (Voth) had three Foose-done cars on display. And he has another two he didn't bring. Cha-ching. They weren't 100% scratch-built cars but were wicked nice.
