James what are the requirments for being invited to finals? Have they changed over the last few years?

How's it goin' Underdog ! The IASCA qualification rules have changed somewhat for this year in that points accumulation are only for zone champion standings, not for World Finals qualifying.

To qualify for the World Finals, which are being held in Memphis, Tennessee this year, you need only attend a "TKE" triple point event or a doulble point event with World Finals qualification status. You don't need to place in the "top 3" or something like that, you simply have to compete in the event and make sure your IASCA membership is up to date by the day of the event.

Well Last I checked there wasn't a TKE or Double out West Am I right?

In Years past if your Zone didn't have many Events you were invited out of Pity

Welp... LIke I said the LAST I looked there wasn't... BUt I looked Again... Aug 24 Car Salon is listed as a double on the Iasca Website. Seems I'm Going to Calgary making sound or not I guess

Yeah i got a invite last year out of pity LOL. I read on carsound that if you dont have a major event near you to call IASCA and they will decide on a case by case bases.

Terry, need a co-pilot? Im in.. Im sure wade could be talked into it to.

July 27th were having an SQ show, but there is no $$$ to pay for the Dealer Package So no Sanctioning for us

You can buy an IASCA membership the day of the event now, unlike past years. For a list of the new rules etc. call me. Terry, if you really want an event, we can work something out...call me. Maybe I could make your event qualify for points...
