Hey, The Game, a broken fuse holder is a poor excuse for not showing up. What kind of holder is it? If it's the barrle type that takes up to a 60 amp AGU I will bring my spare Rockford one for you to have. Everyone must show up, Heck I'm driving from tghe Hat to help run it and spending $300 that day!!

as long as the install doesnt count for anything i dont need the fuse holder, the one i got now is held together with tape. i wasnt using that as an excuse, just sayin that if it was gonna cost me 75$ to compete there was no way i could afford that. im happy for u that u have $300 to spend some of us on the other hand dont have a ton of room in our budget. especially since i just got a new pair of 5.25s, and im doing some work on my box, if i made more cash or had less bills id be all over this show, as of now its a maybe, im waiting for the primer to dry on my box so i can put a couple coats of paint, then laquer on it, so as i said, if i can make it ill go if not then not, i am doin everything in my power (including turning down a camping trip with friends) to go to and bring a couple people to your show in the hat

Oh, I'm not spending the the money on me, I'm spending it on you guys!

I am sure that in SQ the fuse will be judged for safety, IDBL maybe.

oh its perfectly safe, its not like i have no fuse on the power wire, its just the one side of the holder that screws on broke, so the wire is electrical taped in on one end,

its pretty retarded when something meaningless like that could cause a person to lose when the competition is about SPL.... like i said, if thats the case ill hold onto my $30 for now

Now...

I'm going to throw a monkey wrench into everything!!

I phoned the Car Salon today and asked them what the reg. fee was..they asked if it was SQ,S&S..
I said SPL...They told me $15!!

So..How much is it?

If its more than $15 when I get there,I'm likey going to have to bow out..I'm borrowing the money as is...

Let me know if you can...

One way or another I will be there...but if I compete...we will see I guess......

well after 10 hours of work on my box, numerous coats of primer, paint and laquer, and hours of filling and sanding, its turned out nothing like i was planning....... but it does kinda look like its masonry, not the smooth as glass finish i planned on but how often do things in life go as planned 100%? im happy with it, and lookin forward to showin it off at the show today, hey logan thanx for talkin me outta doin it in chrome. the texture of it would have looked uber ghey lol but im tempted to chrome the port...... so its black and chrome...... meh..... probly wont, so if anyone wants to buy a couple cans of chrome spray paint, (one is slightly used to do a test area)....

anyhoo, time for a shower then gotta make some phone calls, and see bout gettin some people to the show...
