I'm planning on putting together a "competition notification system" for next years comps. I'll be getting schedualed dates of shows from shops all around western Canada. I'd like to be able to contact as many competitors as possible and tell them of the events, either my email or phone. This way ppl will be notified of upcoming events that they might not of heard about due to lack of advertising on the shops behalf. There is also the possibility of traviling to events further away if a group is formed. We all know it would be better to travel to places farther away and acutally know some of the ppl there.

The shops would benifit from this too, because we all know that they make a profit (sometimes) when alot of ppl compete and fill the classes. Shops will want to hold more comps if more ppl start coming to them.

I'm gonna try and organize multiple events during the course of a weekend. That way if your a "heavy hitter" and do really well, the trip here could possibly be worth as much as a Triple pointer. And you'll be able to tune your car between shows. I've talked to 3 event organizers already and they're really stoked about the idea. The more ppl I put on the list, the more sweet the rewards.
Think about it. If you were to go to a triple pointer, you'll be there for 2 days anyways, and no chance for tuning.
I've had a good response so far and want to keep the list going. I traveled to as far as Grand Praire, Saskatoon and Regina with a 2 man crew last year. Would've been alot more fun if it was a convoy. Not to say that it wasn't fun anyway Ray/Rob V.O.

i would be all about being a part of this. this winter i will have my own place in winnipeg, and it would be possible for a bunch of guys to have a free place to stay for the weekends that anyone may come out, that is if anyone would come out to peg...

as for notifications, it would be greatly appreciated if i could be added o0DiaLiNG0o@hotmail.com give me a shout and we can work things out before next year, i plan on being out that way alot.

as for making a weekend worth it and whatnot, if your talking about the event on the 21st, it would be good to know what else is happenin on that weekend, and by when we should come in. so far i have me plus 3 other cars coming out to competet from manitoba FOR SURE, more are thinking about it. and hopefully see the majority of you out at fx's last show [img]smile.gif[/img]
