Did anyone attend any of their comps that they hosted through out the 2003 season?
I'm just wondering what the vibes where like and if there is any word if there will be an '04 season for House of Boom.

Im finaly gettin my act together and will be road tripping to as many comps as i can within BC and Alberta. (if i dont get lost gettin there )

I don't think the House of Boom thing has been doing very well for a long time. They might be running a different type of show next year, but that is just speculation at this point. If you want to "Road Trip' you should do dB drag or IASCA idbl shows. There will be tons of both next season and the rules and classes are well constructed. HOB, well, isn't.

You meet lots of great people people along the way and can learn much from them.

I'm just having troubles figuring out what class I should try aim for when constructing my box.

heres my deal.
- 1999 GMC Jimmy (4door)
- RE XXX18
- (2)Concept 1200's

To stay in "Street B", my box/sub have to be under the window line. Now befor port displacement, I have a net of 8.33³.
I think that might be a little small for that sub.

Now I can also say screw it and go about 5" above the window line(now considered a wall) and have a decent sized box around 10³ or so and compete in SS 1-2.

You would have more sucess in the street class then SS.

It is totally up to you. Just don't feel let down if you get beat more in the SS classes then you would in street.

If it makes you feel any better I was never in Street. I started in SS

if yours only going to do future shop house of boom then your plan sounds great, youd be in one subs class and it fits all of there rules. but if you want to really compete in db drag, street b maybe do two 15's or even four 12 better yet... jsut a suggestion

Yeah i read the rules for the HOB. Anything over 15" gets moved up 1 class. So id be in a 2sub class.
And its not like im going for #1 in the world or anything. Just havin some fun and traveling around. Maybe win some stuff too.

Thanx for all the suggestions. All are welcome
