We are in the process of starting up a club for car audio enthusiasts in Western Canada. West Coast Extreme Spl will be based in Vancouver to start, but will be attending shows in BC and Alberta and Washington. So far we are only 10 members and growing. We will be setting up a website, shirts , decals, and other goodies for members that want to join. W.C.E.S. will be out and about to many competitions this season, but will start off the year with Sport Compact Nights(www.sportcompact.ca). Current members will be at the show (with vehicles) to sign up new members. In the weeks to come, we will get an assembly with all members(everyone is welcome to attend) to go over our intentions, and what W.C.E.S. has to offer. Our goal is to do our part to make Spl as big as we can up here in Canada.

please contact me(msn messenger, yahoo messenger, oremail) should you want more info.
pat28ca@yahoo.ca (i use this on msn as well as yahoo).

W.C.E.S. are setting up all the stuff right now. Chances are it will take another couple weeks to get it all going properly. We have one guy working on the web site. Not up yet, but he's working on it. Most likely the web site will have all info on there like shows coming up. Potential shows and show stats (scores and what not). Picks for every member and links to sound domain pages and personal websites. As well as links to Isaca, Db Drag, Usaci, Meca, Slap. We will try to set up a sound domain page for every member, but it will be a one by one basis. Another guy is working on shirts and decals(and logo). It is all coming together nicely as we speak.

As far as what we will do. It will be a bunch of members that are going to do the competition circuit in Alberta, BC and Washington. We have members that are looking to compete solely in Db Drag, and we have some solely in Idbl, some for SQ, Either way we will encourage members to go to shows to give support for W.C.E.S. Not all members are going to want to go to all shows, but we are setting up levels of membership. Possible Bronze Level for local guys, Silver Level for veterans, and Gold Level(Premium) for spl freaks that want to attend all shows. Every membership entitles members to receive shirts and decals depending on the level of membership. for example we(Team Shadow) are going to cover our car with decals, but some guys just want a small decal on their window. The levels of membership are for every range of enthusiast.

W.C.E.S. will have product specials for members. High out put alternators at discount prices, Heavy Duty Batteries at discount prices. Custom decals at discount prices. and of course shirts and all club items at discount prices. All discounts are based on level of membership.

Our mission is to get Competitions going in Western Canada. Competing is huge in Eastern Canada and is starting to make a big increase in Alberta, but we want to increase west coast competing to it's max. Nothing beats showing up to a show and having a team of friends to back you up and to help you out. W.C.E.S will offer every member a chance to maximize their setup with the access to an RTA(mic) , judges(Db Drag and Idbl). You will get input from seasoned professionals and newbies alike. It is a chance to grow as a competitor and to get knowledge from a wide variety of sources. Most and foremost , We will have fun competing.

West Coast Extreme Spl welcomes one and all competitors. Shortly we will announce a date for the first meeting and I will keep everyone posted on our progress.

I'm down with this !
Pat, I remember we were all talking about this at lansdowne last summer. I'm glad you were able to get this coming together - I know I just wouldn't have the time to do it !

Anyways, lets make it big.
