| I thought it would be interesting to start a thread where people could tell us about the highlights of thier 04 season.I know there's going to be a lot of mention of going to Finals, and thats just fine...But I would also like to see other peoples fond memories of this great season too...
I'll post mine after a few others do...

| the '04 season went by so fast for me and i went from "zero to hero" (in my own mind) over the summer. i started off just barely placing in the street b brackets (137 dB), and quickly my hunger to get louder was growing. by the end of this season (with a GREAT DEAL OF HELP FROM FRIENDS), i made it to finals and pulled off a respectable 148.7 dB!!! i improved over 10 dB in one season!
anyway, enough of my reminissing. highlights of this year for me...
1. although it's cliché, i must say FINALS. had an awesome time and well worth all of the other sacrefices that i made. who would have thought that i would have made it my first year of serious comp? now i have memories that will last for a long time. (how could i forget deer dustin and VW meat grinder?)
2. both autotemp shows. both were well done and gave me a lot of opps. for great pics. they were a good time wether you won or lost. i will be posting the pics as soon as i get a chance to sort them out and organize them all.
3. the out of province shows - any time i got a chance to go for a drive and see some new scenery was great. plus getting a few points for going to a show helped out too.

| I have a number of memories myself...
First...all the new people I met..Rick...Dustin..the list goes on and on...
Second...The amount of things I learned through the season...about car audio..about life...and myself...
Third...Taking my first 2 first place wins...The first one was sooo sweet!!I could have almost cried!
Fourth...Running a show in SS 3-4 Wall....and taking 3rd!!I have a pic of my wall on my computer desktop and everytime I see it I smile. It did pretty good (147.3) for a wall of 3 cubes(an old Rob VO box),some scrap MDF,and 4 cheap Pioneer Subs(SVC).Thanks again to Rob for the box portion and to A-Rok(Andy)for use of his 2 BMF1000D's and 3 CAT deep cycles in the trunk.
And I'm sure if I set my mind to it I could think of a hundred more...

Finally Whoop some ass in SPL even though it was only a powerwheels. That has been by far the funnest project I've worked on. Mini Steve was great to work with. If me and Andy hand't went to the pub down the street I might have had time to meet others. heh.
All year was fun. Working on the FX cars, the road trips, testing on all the cars throghout the year, the evenings at Earls LMAO!
In a nut shell it was great spending time doing something we love with friends.
I can't wait until next year, it'll be even more fun and a hell of a lot louder.
X
